Dr Dave has been excellent in all aspects of his care and expertise. He is a knowledgeable, approachable and talented surgeon who is also very kind in his manner. I definitely felt like I trusted him to carry out the surgery he thought necessary and appreciated the time he took afterwards to talk me through how the procedure went and what he had found. I would definitely recommend Dr Dave to anyone needing this kind of surgery

I was diagnosed with early stage ER breast cancer after a routine mammogram and had a discussion with my Consultant, Mr Dave, at the Nightingale hospital. He reassured me that he would be able to perform a lumpectomy surgery and remove sentinel lymph nodes. Throughout my treatment Mr Dave was very courteous and empathetic and willing to answer any questions I had, as was my breast care nurse, Jill, who works in Mr Dave's team. I experienced some cording after my operation due to the removal of lymph nodes and made a couple of appointments with the Physiotherapy Department. Dani who administered my treatment was a lovely, kind and pleasant young lady. I have just completed a course of radiotherapy at the Christie and am receiving ongoing hormone therapy. From start to finish I was so impressed with the multi-team care I was given and am extremely grateful, especially to Mr Dave who did a brilliant job with my breast conserving surgery which left a very neat scar. Thank you.

I was diagnosed with DCIS following a routine mammogram. I had left breast mammoplasty and right breast reduction for symmetry. I am very pleased with the results. Mr Dave provided all the information I needed to make a decision on my surgery options in a way that I understood. He answered my concerns about sentinel node removal and allowed me time to make my decision on mastectomy versus mammoplasty. I felt well supported and listened to throughout the process. Mr Dave is very professional, empathic and easy to talk to, as well as a great surgeon!

I have recently been treated by Mr Dave both at The Nightingale Centre and at The Christie. Mr Dave made me feel very comfortable and I felt he really cared about me and my prognosis. Each time I have seen him he has been highly professional but also very approachable. I am extremely happy with my surgery although it is still early days for me. Gill his Breast Specialist nurse is one of life’s true gems, she is so caring and considerate and just a lovey lady. I cannot recommend Mr Dave enough. And The Nightingale Centre and all of its staff have been wonderful.
